Dainty Jewels from jewellerybox.co.uk

Recently, I've noticed a few bloggers sporting gorgeous jewellery from a website called JewelleryBox.co.uk (Elle and Alina being the first to spring to mind.) Having drooled over pretty much everything I've seen from the brand, I didn't have to think twice when they got in touch with me to ask if I'd like to review one or two pieces.

When it comes to jewellery, I tend to favour either one statement piece or a few dainty items that compliment one another. JewelleryBox.co.uk have so many dainty pieces on offer that it's almost impossible to choose, so I was more than happy to leave the selection in their hands. And it made receiving this adorable looking package even more exciting.

Almost too pretty to open, isn't it? And absolutely perfect if you wanted to send someone a gift of jewellery. Inside, the presentation is just as lovely, with each item carefully packaged within its own individual box.

I was thrilled to see that I had been sent a necklace, ring and two bracelets in sterling silver. Each piece is beautiful in its own right, and in my opinion they look even better when worn together. Having browsed the website and seen numerous examples on various blogs, I was confident that I would love the design of my jewellery even before I opened up the package. However, quality is something which you can really only appreciate in full when you see something in the flesh (or metal, in this case) and I was seriously impressed with the quality of these pieces as soon as I lifted the lid of the first box.

I shouldn't really have been surprised at this. After all, according to JewelleryBox.co.uk, they're very proud of their status as Assay Assured jewellery retailers, which offers reassurance to customers that when they buy sterling silver and 9 ct gold pieces from the site, they are getting exactly that. JewelleryBox.co.uk are also passionate about offering their real jewellery at costume jewellery prices, and given that they've managed to do this without compromising on the design, I'm pretty confident that I won't be the only person checking them out again next time I'm shopping for jewellery.

My favourite of all the pieces I received is probably this beautiful, simple V charm necklace (£8.25).

I put this on as soon as I received it and basically haven't taken it off since. It looks fab on its own - I love tiny necklaces that give you that gleam of silver at your neck when they catch the light - but it will also make a great layering piece.

I was also sent the matching bracelet (£6.45), together with this Infinity Loop bracelet (£4.15). I absolutely love the effect of the two of them together. As I've mentioned before, I have spindly chicken arms, so these are a tiny bit big for me at the moment, but it's nothing that the removal of a few links won't fix. (Incidentally, if you too are cursed with spindly chicken arms and have a problem finding bracelets to fit, I highly recommend getting some jeweller's pliers and learning to remove links yourself. They don't cost much and it's an easy skill to learn. A trained monkey could probably do it. Not that monkeys wear much jewellery, of course. Can you tell I'm writing this on a very long, dull train journey?!)

Anyway, moving on swiftly, the final item I received was this gorgeous Heart and Arrow ring (£7.15). It's actually an adjustable midi ring, but spindly chicken arms come with teeny tiny little fingers, so it fits like a regular ring on me. I absolutely love it like this though, so it's all good.

I really couldn't be happier with the pieces I received from JewelleryBox.co.uk. I particularly love layering up dainty pieces of jewellery in the warmer weather, so I already know that these are going to get plenty of wear soon. (There's going to be some warmer weather in the UK soon, right? RIGHT?!)

Have you discovered JewelleryBox.co.uk yet? What's your current favourite piece of jewellery?

  2. I also have ridiculously useless chicken arms (can’t even do one proper press up…!) – You are not alone!

These pieces are really dainty and cute…I just don’t wear silver jewellery. I’ll have a brose to see if they do gold because it looks like such good value!
