So when the lovely PR who invited me offered to send me a few products anyway, you can imagine how thrilled I was! I've been using them for a while now, so it's about time I shared my thoughts with you.
Jurlique Radiant Skin Foaming Cleanser*
Like all Jurlique products, the Radiant Skin Foaming Cleanser is made from pure botanicals grown on the brand's organic farm in the South Australian hills. It contains Birch, Calendula, Spilanthes, Rosemary, Yarrow, Lemon Balm and Licorice to purify the skin and dissolve makeup and impurities, while very fine exfoliating minerals - which I cannot feel in the product at all - gently polish and refine the complexion. It also contains Rose Gallica to hydrate as it cleanses.
The cleanser feels silky on first application and gently foams up as you massage it into damp skin. There is a subtle rose scent to the product, which I love. On rinsing my face, my skin feels squeaky clean, and definitely had a radiance to it after I had been using the cleanser day and night for a few days. My only reservation with this product is that it might be slightly too strong for those with more sensitive skin than mine, but otherwise it is a lovely cleanser and I've really enjoyed using it.
Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist
This is the product I already owned and loved. While any product that smells of roses is immediately a hit with me, there is just something about this one that seems extra delicious, for some reason. The mist refreshes, rebalances and hydrates skin and is wonderful to use at any time of year as an extra little perfecting step in your routine, but especially in hot summer weather.
For a long time, I didn't really see the point of facial mists, but now I love them for their ability to perk up my complexion during a long day, as well as how beautifully refreshing they feel. This one from Jurlique will probably always be my favourite, mostly because of the wonderful scent, that makes me feel like a princess every time I use it. I'm very keen to try some of their other mists too!
Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus Revitalising Gel Lotion*
The rose fragrance is slightly fainter with this product than with the others, but still there. It's a very light consistency, almost a watery gel, and feels cooling on the skin, so it's been a lovely one to use throughout the warm summer weather. Despite the fact that it's so light, it definitely delivers on hydration, and I've found it suits my combination skin very well. It's also suitable for use morning and night, which makes it great for travelling, so I will probably be taking it on holiday with me in a few days time.
Jurlique Rose Hand Cream Handpicked Limited Edition*
I always think of really nice hand creams as being one of life's little luxuries, and this is probably one of the nicest I have ever tried - what a shame it's only limited edition! It's made from an exclusive rose extract, grown on the Jurlique farm and handpicked at first bloom for extra goodness. Again, this has the most beautiful rose fragrance and feels rich and nourishing without being greasy in the slightest, and leaves my hands feeling soft and hydrated. It's a lovely one to throw in your handbag or keep on your bedside table and really does feel like a special little treat whenever you apply it. If you're in the market for a new hand cream, I would definitely recommend this one.

We all love a good pamper night, and with the cooler months on the horizon now, I for one am looking forward to having a few more of them soon! There's nothing nicer than lighting a scented candle or two and running a hot bath after a cold and miserable day, and with that in mind, I thought that now would be the perfect time to share a few of my pamper night essentials with you.
Bath And Body
For me, the highlight of any pamper night is a hot bath. I love to set up my laptop to play YouTube videos while I sink into the water and feel the stresses of the day start to melt away. Bubbles are an absolute must, and for this, my favourite products are without doubt the Lush Bubble Bars, in particular, The Comforter. It creates a huge amount of bubbles, so one bar will last you a minimum of four baths, it smells like fruit sweets, and it turns the bathwater pink. If that's not perfection, I don't know what is.
In addition to the bubbles, I also like to add a few drops of a really luxurious bath oil to help soften my skin. I'm a huge fan of Jo Malone Bath Oils, but at the moment I'm using this beautiful Restorative Bath Oil from Espa. I've had it in my stash for a while - I believe the packaging has changed now - so I thought it was high time I used it up! It contains a soothing blend of sweet orange, rose geranium and lavender to calm the senses, as well as palmarosa and sweet almond oil to tone and moisturise the skin. I also have the matching body oil, which I love to apply after I get out of the bath to make my skin extra supple. The added bonus with this is that you will get into bed smelling wonderful!
Hair
Washing my hair can feel like a chore at times, but if I'm having a really full on pamper night, I'll do that first, then slather on a nourishing hair mask and wrap my hair up in a towel while I have my bath. The heat really helps the mask to sink into your hair and I always think you get the maximum benefits from it by doing it that way. At the moment I'm using the Garnier Ultimate Blends Sleek Restorer, which contains coconut oil and cocoa butter. It smells incredible and is very rich and moisturising - perfect for my bleached hair. One word of caution though - if you have fine hair like me, this isn't a mask you're going to want to apply to your roots. My bleached ends love it, but it's too rich for the roots and makes them look greasy, leaving me needing to wash my hair again. If you have thick and/or super dry hair, however, you will probably love this as an all over treat.
Skincare
Pamper night is the perfect time for a little multi-masking action. I tend to start with a clay or charcoal mask to draw impurities out of my oily t-zone, and the Origins Clear Improvement mask is a tried and trusted favourite for this. Then, I like a hydrating or plumping mask, to help put that youthful look back into my complexion! I love these sheet masks from Indeed Labs, but there's something about the scent of roses that instantly makes me feel like a princess, so it's no surprise that the British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask from The Body Shop is one of my all time favourites. A refreshing, soft gel texture, this is infused with real rose petals and smells absolutely incredible - even now, when as you can see, I've almost finished the jar. It feels soothing to apply, and leaves my skin smooth, soft and looking brighter. This really is one of my most loved products and will definitely be repurchased as soon as it is finished.
Another little touch of luxury for my skin, also rose scented, is the Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist. Hydrating, soothing and refreshing, this is such a pleasure to spritz on at the end of a cleansing routine (before moisturising). I actually don't save this one for pamper night at all - I use it every day!
Eye Masks
I'm obsessed with eye masks at the moment! In fact, I talked about a couple of my favourite kinds in this post, if you fancy checking that out. At the moment, I'm using these Pro-5 Collagen Hydrogel Eye Pads* from skinChemists. Designed to brighten, smooth, hydrate and firm the under eye area, they come in a box of five and are recommended for weekly use. You need to lie down while you wear these, because they'll fall off your face otherwise (or at least that's what I find), but that's not necessarily a bad thing - especially on a relaxing pamper night! SkinChemists recommend that you wear these for ten to fifteen minutes, but I've noticed my under eye area looking brighter and more refreshed after just five.
What are some of your pamper night essentials?

With the summer months well and truly upon us, I've been changing up my skincare a little bit. I think most of us find our skin changes with the seasons, and I know mine certainly does, especially when you throw traveling into the mix, which I tend to do more in the warmer months than in the winter. I've put together a little wish list, incorporating some of my current favourite products with a few that I would love to try. Everything I've selected is well suited to keeping skin looking its best throughout the summer. Enjoy!
1. L'Occitane Shea Light Comforting Face Cream
- L'Occitane is one of my favourite brands, so I'm not quite sure why
I've never tried their skincare before. Pretty much every face cream L'Occitane
has featured on their moisturisers page looks like something I'd be interested in trying, but for my summer wish list, I've picked the Shea Light Comforting
Face Cream. Combining a light, silky texture with hydrating
properties, it sounds ideal for the warmer months or indeed any time when you want to moisturise your skin without using anything too rich or heavy.
2. Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel
- I've recently rediscovered this cleanser and I love it! It's a gel
formula that transforms to an oil as it melts into the skin and feels
very gentle to use. I use it as a second cleanse after removing my
makeup with a micellar water and feel that it does a great job of
cleansing without upsetting the balance of my combination skin.
3. Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Hydrating Shield - This is expensive, but it's something I would love to try. It offers fantastic sun protection as well as shielding skin from harmful pollutants - brilliant if you spend a lot of your time in cities. Apparently, it's also light enough to wear under makeup. Bonus!
4. Bobbi Brown SPF 50 Protective Face Base - This is similar to the Elizabeth Arden product, but is designed more as a makeup primer that has broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection built in. This would be a brilliant one to take on holiday as it's essentially two products in one slim and portable tube.
5. Urban Decay Chill Setting Spray - From the first step of your makeup routine to the last! Setting sprays aren't something I used to bother with, but I'm getting into them more these days, especially when I want to give my makeup a helping hand to last a little longer. I'm a big fan of Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray, but this new one - Chill - sounds absolutely perfect for summer. It features time release temperature control technology, which keeps your makeup from becoming too warm and sliding off your face. How genius is that?!
6. Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist - I am using this at the moment. I really am a sucker for anything with roses in it and this is just so lovely. Delicately fragranced with rose, it hydrates, refreshes and soothes with just one quick spritz. You cannot help but feel like a princess when using this.
7. Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Masks - One of my favourite sheet masks. I like that they come in a box of four, and they are pretty impressive on the hydrating and plumping front. These are perfect for getting the moisture back into your skin if it's been feeling dehydrated, for example, after a long day relaxing on a sunny beach!
8. Clarins Blue Orchid Oil - I don't currently have one of these in my stash, but it is a product I love and have used on and off for years. Another gem for restoring moisture and radiance to dehydrated skin, it's a beautiful facial oil to use and has a wonderful, relaxing fragrance to it. Note to self - repurchase ASAP!
